Industrial pilot unit on site at WEPA Bridgend
Danu Water's industrial pilot is now running at WEPA's paper mill in Bridgend, Wales, with our CTO Jack Ledingham on site.
It is treating 60 m³ of the mill's own process water a day, about the household water use of 440 people, on a system with capacity for 400 m³ a day. The pilot puts our adaptive electromembrane separation to work under real operating conditions, with all the variability that comes with them, at technology readiness level 7.
It follows our prototype, which has been regularly testing industrial wastewater samples since March 2025.
