Dyehouse water reuse

Salt out to your target. Colour too, if you need it.

The problem

Dyehouse wastewater carries a high and variable salt load from dyeing and finishing, plus colour and auxiliaries such as urea and bleach. Salt affects shade consistency and dye uptake, so the water cannot simply go back into the process.

Benefits

  • 95%+ of water returned clean and ready to reuse
  • Salt always removed to the conductivity your process needs
  • Colour reduced alongside salt where your reuse target requires it
  • Bleach, urea and other auxiliaries assessed case by case
  • Every litre reused is a litre you don't draw in or discharge, a direct step towards zero liquid discharge

Application

Treats spent dyebath and rinse water after a dedicated pre-treatment step, returning clean water to the dyehouse. The small residual stream can be discharged, processed further or reused, depending on what is in it and the routes open to your site.
