The problem
Hard river or borehole water carries calcium, magnesium and bicarbonate alkalinity that scale boilers, heat exchangers and process lines. Conventional fixes swap one problem for another: ion-exchange brine adds chloride to the loop, lime softening makes sludge, and RO costs energy and leaves a concentrate to manage.
Benefits
- No regenerant chemicals and no added chloride
- Hardness removal tuned to target, not over-treated
- Follows seasonal swings in intake quality
- Protects boilers, heat exchangers and process lines
Application
Treats hard intake water before it enters the mill, giving the process the best possible starting point. Add TraceClear where some uses, such as certain boilers, need extra-low conductivity.
